Waterloo Makes Music: Austin Walkin’ Cane and Fox Ears

Waterloo Makes Music is a free concert series, presented by Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present, Future, showcasing acts from the Cleveland music scene at various locations in the Waterloo Arts & Entertainment District.

February’s event will be hosted in the Cleveland Rocks Shop. Our listening room is small and intimate with limited capacity so we kindly as you to RSVP for this event to secure your seat.

Austin Walkin Cane:

Austin Walkin’ Cane is a blues singer, songwriter, and slide guitar impressario who performs across acoustic, solo, duo and electric band mediums. He has toured around the world with only a National guitar and suitcase in hand.

Fox Ears:

Fox Ears is Cleveland’s newest RnB music group, presenting songs written and produced by Maple Hts native Curtis CJ Johnson. CJ’s material is expressive of his mastery of the piano and musical composition, rooted in the sounds of hip hop, funk, yacht rock, prog, and popular Rhythm and Blues. Fox Ears is completed by the backing of session musicians Jeff Larch on Drums (Slow Wake, Reiginleif, Black Spirit Crown, Marcus Smith), Matthew Gorey (Color Phase) and Tyler Ray. If you’ve ever enjoyed Bill Withers, Sade, Luther Vandross or Prince, Fox Ears is for you.
