His velvety Lo-Fi sounds are a vibe-heavy soul party\, fusing modern trap\, 70s funk\, and fiery Southern gospel. He writes for pure enjoyment. “The way I go about writing\, I’m like extreme Southern hospitality. I’ll always have something for you. I won’t let you leave until you take something with you.”\, he said. Singing choir by age 5\, Nathan is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in saxophone and flute\, as well as production and composition. Though he may defy genre constructs\, Nathan-Paul is a Jazz Studies graduate from the University of Akron\, and is improvising all the time – influenced by greats Charlie Parker\, Sonny Rollins\, Miles Davis\, John Coltrane\, Louis Armstrong.\nhttps://nathanpaulsound.com\nhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/5nTcwumRsv459Yw9kUP1JB \n\nElijah Khalil is a Neo-soul vocalist and songwriter\, with a production style filled with lush vocal harmonies and head nodding rhythms. RSVP here \nGuest Speaker: Sammy Haig\nSammy’s lecture aims to make creatives aware of the landscape of the modern music industry as it relates to popular music production. Sammy breaks down exactly how charting music is getting made today\, and how anyone can work towards becoming a part of that process.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker: Sammy Haig is a trumpeter\, producer\, and songwriter from Cleveland\, Ohio. He graduated from the IU Jacobs School of Music and is currently signed to Hallwood Media.
