DESCRIPTION:Waterloo Makes Music is a free concert series\, presented by Cleveland Rocks: Past\, Present\, Future\, showcasing acts from the Cleveland music scene at various locations in the Waterloo Arts & Entertainment District. \nFri\, May 1\, 2026 • 6-8pm\nTreelawn Music Hall (15335 Waterloo Rd)\nFree event!  RSVP Here. \n\n\nRustic SkiesRustic Skies is an indie band from the Cleveland/Akron area fronted by an electric cello. Through songs that showcase the highs and lows of life and the human experience\, their music blends jazz\, funk and rock to bring a unique performance to the stage. Within their first year\, they have had the honor of releasing four singles\, performing at IngenuityFest and Folk and Flora Fest\, opening for The Wildwoods\, and being named Best New Artist in the 2025 Cleveland Music Awards.https://linktr.ee/Rusticskieshttps://www.instagram.com/rusticskiesband/https://www.facebook.com/people/Rustic-Skies/61569145451200\n\nThe Baker’s BasementTwo-piece\, Cleveland based adventure-folk band the Baker’s Basement (tBB) features the eclectic musical stylings of vocalist/drummer Kate Dedinsky and vocalist/guitarist Adam Grindler. At their rhythmic core pulses an orange striped\, homemade\, bucket-drum concoction\, the funky back beat on which Dedinsky performs standing up with her signature swagger and sway. The duo’s intimate sound\, rooted in a spirited and poignant flavor of indie-folk music and topped with playful vocal layers\, offers a heart-wrenching yet at times humorous sonic signature that’s altogether their own. Always active live and in studio\, tBB released a full length album in November of 2024 titled “Down Down Domino” followed by two 2025 singles: “Singing to the Plants” and “Come To Terms with Going Ghost” (released Nov 20\, 2025).
