SUMMARY:Networking Workshop: Panel & Mixer plus 2x4 Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Cleveland Rocks: PPF’s Professional Development Workshops focus on a different music-related topic including music technology\, business\, networking\, and professional development. We invite guest speakers and panelists to lead these workshops\, as well as offer demos and interactive experiences to attendees. \nNetworking Workshop: Panel & Mixer plus 2×4 Showcase\nMon\, March 16\, 2026 • 6pm\nThe Treelawn (15335 Waterloo Rd\, Cleveland)\nFree Event! RSVP here \nPanelists: Robin “Hyperius” Blake\, Jenna Fournier\, Nuke Franklin\, Tracy Marie\n2×4 Songwriter Showcase Artists: Matt Moody\, Liz Bullock\, Colleen Welsch\, Accubat. \nThis event is made possible with support from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and The Ohio Arts Council. \n\n\n\nBios: \n\n• Robin Blake: A dynamic musician and member of the band Black Voltron\, Robin has been instrumental in shaping Cleveland’s experimental and alternative music scenes. Black Voltron is known for their innovative sound that blends funk\, hip hop\, and jazz elements\, in a high energy sound that is pushing creative boundaries and gaining recognition both locally and nationally.https://blackvoltron.com/\n• Jenna Fournier: Frontwoman of Kid Tigrrr\, Jenna is a dream of a performer and songwriter whose atmospheric style and compelling lyrics have made waves nationally. Her work reflects on nature and spirit and resilience and the inner and outer struggles of an independent artist.https://kidtigrrr.com/\n• Nuke Franklin: Cleveland\, OH native rapper Nuke Franklin is tenacious\, passionate\, and often conflicted – qualities that drive his eclectic Hip-Hop style and put on display every detail of who he is to listeners. Influenced sonically by a variety of artists across Hip-Hop and R&B like Kid Cudi\, The Weeknd\, Tyler\, The Creator\, and Outkast to name off a few\, Nuke pulls his inspiration from a wide range of ideas\, situations\, and moods. From braggadocious and hard hitting sounds like “Hidden Hills” to more somber and moody self-reflection based lyrics like “OHSHEITGAWDDAMN”\, Nuke’s range is something that sets him apart from his peers. Instilled with a competitive edge by his upbringing in Cleveland and inspired by his early connections to family through music\, Nuke started rapping and writing music at 13 years old and shows no signs of slowing down.\n• Tracy Marie: Cleveland Singer/Songwriter\, Tracy Marie has written hundreds of songs\, released 6 albums and has performed professionally for more than 20 years in the rock\, blues and folk scenes.. Her performances have included venues from nursing homes to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and back home at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame where she received a nomination for “Rock Hall Riot Girl” in 2008. Tracy’s music is her connection to her community\, where she has made herself known as an outspoken advocate for disability justice\, disability rights and improved care for those with rare diseases.https://tracymarie.com/\n\n• Matt MoodyTransient troubadour Matt Moody has run the gamut a few times over and still has gas in the tank. Reared from Cleveland and walking a tightrope between genre’s since he began\, his styles converge somewhere in the middle of rust belt grit\, western motifs and vulnerable melancholia; if 90’s pop rock and americana had a bastard child steeped in blues and soul. Prolific\, elusive and hard to define\, Moody’s career thus far has landed him on stages high and low; major festivals (Bonnaroo 2022 as a member of Wax Owls) \, legendary venues (Douglas Corner Cafe\, Hotel Cafe)\, local joints (Grog Shop\, Beachland Ballroom & Tavern)\, coffee shops\, lofty vineyards\, beer soaked bars and everything in between. Having released two solo full-lengths and a split EP with production duo Seacoast\, Moody has kept busy across the midwest\, California and Tennessee; co-writing with some major players along the way like Steve Cropper and Karen Staley\, though most of his releases are of a singular vision.https://www.mattismoody.comhttps://www.instagram.com/mattismoody/https://www.facebook.com/mattismoody/https://open.spotify.com/artist/5FbidMA4DaaS1qrXJ67pdE\n• Liz BullockLiz Bullock is a vocalist and songwriter from Cleveland\, OH. She works as a music therapist in the area. In her free time\, she performs locally\, records vocals for local bands and continues writing original music. She has opened for notable artists such as Dionne Warwick and J.D. Souther. Her music is inspired by folk\, blues\, soul and jazz. Her debut EP ‘Where to Begin’ highlights these influences and her signature powerful vocals.https://www.facebook.com/LizBullockMusichttps://bassguy321.wixsite.com/lizbullockandthetree\n• Colleen WelschColleen Welsch is a singer\, songwriter\, and music producer based in Cleveland Heights\, Ohio. Her sound is a distinctive blend of vintage-inspired pop with rock and country influences\, characterized by smooth harmonies\, a wide vocal range\, and introspective\, emotional (and occasionally funny) lyrics. A multi-instrumentalist\, Colleen accompanies herself on guitar and piano. Since launching her musical journey in 2021\, Colleen has established herself as both a versatile artist and skilled producer.https://www.facebook.com/colleen.e.welsch\n\n• Accubat (Michael Bruner)\nAccubat plays folk-indie songs with fingerpicked grooves\, heart on t-shirt sleeve lyrics\, and occasional punk sabotage. Sensitive and nostalgic\, sometimes strange\, mostly true—sometimes total bullshit. Solo acoustic by default\, sometimes basement rock energy with collaborators. Michael Bruner started performing in 2021 after making songs at home for many years. Accubat has released three albums. Part-time punk\, full-time whatever.\nhttps://www.instagram.com/accubat_music/
