RSVP Here.\n\nThor Platter is a Cleveland-based singer-songwriter and guitarist whose deep appreciation for Americana and classic country shapes every note he plays. Known for his warm\, authentic vocal style and storytelling chops\, Thor’s songwriting blends timeless country influences with sharp\, modern insight. A native of Virginia\, he cut his teeth in Los Angeles before relocating to Houston\, developing a songwriting voice shaped by classic country storytellers and bar-room realism.\n\nStinson’s songs combine sharp lyrical detail with a direct embrace of life’s rough edges\, moving easily from drinking songs and honky-tonk laments to wry character studies. His writing is matched by a voice and band that favor honesty over polish and songs that hold up in real rooms.\n\nHis song “Late Great Golden State” was recorded by Dwight Yoakam\, appearing on Yoakam’s Population Me\, bringing Stinson wider recognition as a songwriter beyond his own releases.\n\nOver the years\, Stinson has released a steady run of albums including Jack of All Heartache\, Last Fool at the Bar\, The Jukebox in Your Heart\, and Hell and Half of Georgia\, while touring extensively with his band through clubs\, roadhouses\, and festivals across the country.\nAlong the way he has earned consistent critical praise and developed a reputation as a songwriter’s songwriter. His work has also been recorded by other artists in the Americana and roots music world.\n\nKnown for a strong work ethic and a compelling live show\, Mike Stinson continues to write and perform songs grounded in classic American songwriting traditions while sounding distinctly his own.\n\n\nLearn more: https://fidelityhotelcle.com/

SUMMARY:Waterloo Makes Music: Big Hoke and The Modern Kollective
DESCRIPTION:Waterloo Makes Music is a free concert series\, presented by Cleveland Rocks: Past\, Present\, Future\, showcasing acts from the Cleveland music scene at various locations in the Waterloo Arts & Entertainment District. \nFri\, September 4\, 2026 • 6-8pm\nWaterloo Tower Stage (E.156th at Waterloo Rd.)\nFree event! RSVP Here. \n\n\nBig HokeBig Hoke is the music of Cleveland musician Justin Gorski. In the early 2000s\, Justin wrote his first solo album (My Last Date) under the moniker Big Hoke. While recording it\, he made friends with some up-and-coming local musicians. Justin had the opportunity to open stages for a Paul Simon & Brian Wilson tour\, wrote and recorded another full album (The Black Album)\, and started playing swing and jazz music. After discovering his friend Gordy Quist from The Band of Heathens opened a recording studio in Austin\, Justin made plans to come and record an album with him. These sessions are what Big Hoke’s Home is all about. Originals\, a few covers\, and a hell of a lot of heart are within those grooves of that vinyl. Fiddles\, National guitars\, hand claps\, pedal steel guitars\, tubas\, trumpets\, mandolins\, cello\, and percussion bring back the days true roots/rock music…and all of this is brought together by Justin’s untamed piano playing and warm vocals.https://bighoke.com/\n\nThe Modern KollectiveRock-pop band from Cleveland\, OH. Started out as an acoustic duo\, then grew from there!https://linktr.ee/themodernkollective\n\n\n\nThis event is made possible with support from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and The Ohio Arts Council.\n\n\n

SUMMARY:Waterloo Makes Music: Frida and the Mann and Nature Nvoke
DESCRIPTION:Waterloo Makes Music is a free concert series\, presented by Cleveland Rocks: Past\, Present\, Future\, showcasing acts from the Cleveland music scene at various locations in the Waterloo Arts & Entertainment District. \nFri\, October 2\, 2026 • 6-8pm\nThe Treelawn (15335 Waterloo Rd.)\nFree event! RSVP Here. \n\n\n\n\nFrida and the Mann\nEmerging in 2024 from Cleveland\, OH\, Frida and The Mann blends alternative rock and indie pop into a genre-defying sound. From Frida and the Mann’s Inception\, the goal was simple. Make music that people can feel. Be unapologetic. Be raw. Be true. This band from Cleveland\, OH was formed in mid 2023 by Frida Mann (vocals) Adam Cramer (guitars) and Zachary Horstman (drums) while in someone else’s basement\, in a small space\, with big dreams. Shortly thereafter\, Stefan Johnson (bass/vocals) joined to complete the sonic landscape.\nNow winners of the 2024 Cleveland Music Awards Best New Artist\, they are emerging as one of the most unique sounding musical artists in Cleveland. Their alternative atmospheric pop-rock sound hits hard as you feel every turn of the rollercoaster songs in your body because it’s straight from their soul.\nhttps://fridaandthemann.com\nhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556209380742 \nNature Nvoke\nCleveland artist Nate “Ace” Eberhardt is an Afro-futurist and prolific conceptualist whose belief in the healing power of music has manifested itself in 5 singles and 7 EP’s. These works of varying numbers of tracks were produced and released under the name Nature\, including the 2024 12-song album\, “Doors Of Perception.” Since its beginning as a solo project in 2019\, Eberhardt has primarily been concerned with turning the practice of merging past struggles and present identity into a sound. Naturally evolving since its conception\, what was once a solo bedroom project has become a full ensemble with the additions of drummer David “Coach Dave” Parks and bassist Josh “Mekhi” Burton. Now Nature Nvoke\, the group is releasing Echoes In Eternity\, an 5 song EP\, the group’s first full band offering.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/naturenvoke\nhttps://www.instagram.com/naturenvoke \n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is made possible with support from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and The Ohio Arts Council.\n\n\n
