Our listening room is small and intimate with limited capacity so we kindly as you to RSVP for this event to secure your seat. \nFree event! \nAustin Walkin Cane: \nAustin Walkin’ Cane is a blues singer\, songwriter\, and slide guitar impressario who performs across acoustic\, solo\, duo and electric band mediums. Fox Ears is completed by the backing of session musicians Jeff Larch on Drums (Slow Wake\, Reiginleif\, Black Spirit Crown\, Marcus Smith)\, Matthew Gorey (Color Phase) and Tyler Ray. DESCRIPTION:Cleveland Rocks: PPF’s Professional Development Workshops are held on the third Monday of the month from 7-9pm at the Cleveland Rocks Shop (15801 Waterloo Rd.). Each workshop will focus on a different music-related topic with discussions from 7-8pm\, followed by a 2×4 Songwriter Showcase from 8-9pm featuring 4 different artists\, 2 songs each.\n\nFebruary Workshop:\nTy Craemer from Wax Mage will talk with David Kennedy from Cleveland Rocks about making vinyl records. Ty is a musician and co-owner of Wax Mage\, a specialty manufacturer of limited edition artistic vinyl records and record label. Learn about what it takes to make vinyl and how Wax Mage is different. Find out more and ask questions about making vinyl records.\n\n2×4 Songwriter Showcase featuring …\nJames Douglas is a songwriter based in University Heights\, Ohio. His new record\, THE HARBINGER\, will appear sometime in 2024. The lead single\, TO LEAH\, IN HER GOTH PHASE\, was released 9.26.23 and is streaming everywhere.\nLauren Brabson is a singer-songwriter and self-taught musician with roots in Barberton\, Ohio. Her music is an unapologetic exploration of melancholy\, weaving her narratives into each chord and lyric. Her songwriting serves as acceptance toward everyday life\, drawing listeners into her emotionally charged narratives.Beyond her artistic endeavors\, Lauren is a dedicated advocate for the local music scene. While performing in venues throughout Northeast Ohio\, she actively supports her fellow musicians and local establishments.Her professional journey is a testament to the commitment to her craft and her passion for sharing it with the world. You can find Lauren on Facebook\, Instagram\, and all streaming platforms.\nDan McCoy has been bringing his brand of Heartland-Alt.Country-Rock to the masses since 1988 (he played his first gig a month before his 15th birthday). There have been many comparisons of McCoy’s music to Springsteen\, Petty\, Seger\, Mellencamp as well as more contemporary artists such as Lucero\, Drive-By Truckers & Will Hoge. His enthusiastic onstage persona is infectious & by the end of a set one feels as though he’s an old friend you haven’t seen in a while.\nJustin Allyn is an indie singer-songwriter known for his captivating blend of ambient and acoustic sounds. Influenced by the likes of Noah Gundersen\, David Bazan and Ruston Kelly\, Allyn has crafted a unique musical style that resonates with listeners on a deep emotional level. With an enchanting voice that effortlessly conveys raw emotions\, Allyn’s music transports listeners to a world of contemplation and self-discovery. His haunting melodies\, accompanied by intricate guitar work\, create an atmospheric backdrop that lingers long after the last chord is played.\n\n**** The Cleveland Rocks Shop is an intimate venue with LIMITED capacity.
