The Mars Express delivers musical experiences that resonate with all audiences. Our passion for jazz, neo-soul, and funk drives us to create a sonic journey that captivates and inspires. Berklee alumnus, Mars Q and vocalist, Sara Smile, join together as a duo or in full band format. Sara’s love for astronomy and metaphysics comes alive in her lyrical melodies atop harmonized flavors created by Mars. Original music is written to raise vibrations and often played in 432hz. We’d love to help open your mind to new musical ideas and lyrical concepts. Our performances offer instrument solos, expressive jams and smooth dynamic vocals.

Corissa Bragg
After a decade in Nashville and a long break from songwriting, Corissa’s return to Cleveland reignited her creative fire. What began as a homecoming quickly became a musical rebirth, with songs pouring out that capture the grit, mood, and heart of the city itself. Drawing on her roots in raw, emotional folk-rock, Corissa channels both tenderness and ferocity, weaving stories that cut deep and linger. Her forthcoming album, born from this wave of inspiration, is brought to life with the support of a powerhouse band: Lex Moda (Cellophane Jane), Lovest Watson III (Femi Kuti, Brain Bacon), and Skyler Keffer (Orefice Roth). Together, they create a sound that is moody, dynamic, and unflinchingly heartfelt — a blend reminiscent of early ’90s female indie performers but distinctly her own. On stage, Corissa and her band deliver performances that are intimate yet electrifying, pulling audiences in with raw vulnerability and holding them with undeniable presence.
