Cleveland Rocks: PPF’s Professional Development Workshops are held on the third Monday of the month. Each workshop will focus on a different music-related topic, followed by a 2×4 Songwriter Showcase featuring 4 different artists, 2 songs each.

With the recent elimination of CSU’s college radio station WCSB, October’s workshop will feature a panel discussion with staff from local radio stations to discuss the importance of college and community radio.

Nicole Otero
Nicole Otero is a singer/songwriter based in Cleveland, Ohio with heavy folk influences. From Nick Drake to Joni Mitchell, Nicole channels an energy through her finger-picking and introspective lyrics sorely missing from the local scene.

Jessica Jonczyk
Jessica Jonczyk is a cellist and singer-songwriter from Akron, performing either as a soloist, in a duet or with her full band project, “Rustic Skies.” With a background in orchestral composition and music theory, she aims to take musical traditions of the past and approach them with a modern outlook.
